This Alkaline pH filter for Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems is an inline cartridge featuring mineral balls, calcite media, and other components. It is designed to improve the pH value of the RO water, which can become slightly acidic after the reverse osmosis process. The alkaline filter also restores healthy minerals such as ionized calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium that were removed during water purification.
The filter is capable of increasing the pH value of the RO water by 0.5 to 1.2, helping to minimize fluctuations in the body's pH levels. By replacing the minerals lost through the RO process, the alkaline filter slightly increases the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) value, typically between 10-20 ppm. These restored minerals, including natural calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium ions, are readily found in natural mineral water and can be 100% absorbed by the human body. The smaller molecular structure of these ions helps the body take in more water and replenish lost fluids quickly, making the water cleaner and healthier.
The alkaline filter is typically installed alongside RO systems to complement their absolute filtration quality, providing a comprehensive water treatment solution.
